[The darkness is rapidly approaching. Shan heads to town! Down the docks, into the main shipyard. It's quiet here too.] * Shan wanders into town! Quietly, sticking to the shadows. She looks for signs of what could have happened. [Shan sees some doors close in the distance where the houses and shops are. Rather quickly. She also sees some people!] * Shan gets closer so she can see who they are/hear what they have to say. [She doesn't hear any talking from them actually. But she does get closer...] * Shan tries to figure out what they're doing. [One of them seems to turn to look at her. The darkness is still too much to make out much more tone than the silouette.] * Shan freezes and stays still, hoping it's a coincidence. If he gives any indication it's not, though, she's bound to act. [The one in the wide-brimmed captain hat is walking towards Shan. The houses line along the streets, shifting into alleyways and such, though those are few and far between.] * Shan gets up and hails him. "Good evening, sir. Forgive me, but I've only just arrived in town and was quite surprised to find the area devoid of any activity." [The man keeps walking up without comment. He hasn't changed his pacing, but he's getting closer.] * Shan frowns. She holds out a hand and has it sparkle, illuminating the area. [She gets a good look at the man just before there's a crashing in the distance that sounds like the sound of splintering wood and a scream. The man draws his sword in a flint of steel and there's probably at least half a dozen sillouettes of more "men" behind him. Yet one more thing stands out about the man ] [He doesn't look as if he's entirely alive.] [Session End.]
