[Meanwhile, Ayaka finds herself having lost the last half of the day.  She 
remembers that she couldn't sleep.  She remembers writing a note.  And some of 
the circumstances that brought her here.  Where she was, she wasn't sure.  But 
it had felt right at the time.  Now, it just seems dark, cold, and lonely.  Oh 
and dripping too.  She can hear dripping in the distance.]
[The people who brought her here are long gone...and she only got a glimpse of 
them.  Her purse is still on her though.  She seems to be lying on a matress 
though, so it's not all bad.  But quainter accomodations than she's used to, I'm 
sure.}
[Start of File.]
* Ayaka blinks a couple of times and looks around to where 'here' was. Or tries 
to, since its dark. "Um... Maybe this wasn't such a good idea"
* Ayaka sits up and clutches her purse examining her 'quaint' accomodations.
[Ayaka sees the darkness.]
<Ryan> (Do you attack it?)
* Ayaka slips the strap of her purse over her shoulder and starts rumaging in 
its roomy depths for her little flashlight with a sour face.
<Ayaka> ( *wonders if it and the gun are still in the bag or if  someone thought 
it was a good idea to disarm her at the very least* ^_^ )
[Ayaka finds the flashlight and, surprisingly enough, the gun is still there.]
* Ayaka turns on the flashlight and takes another look around with an eye to 
finding her way to a light switch. muttering softly "Well I guess its time to 
play 'Where the hell are you now?'"
[Ayaka is in a cavern of some sorts.  A makeshift bunk was provided for her and 
actually a small icebox as well.  It seems fairly adequate.  There's a door 
across from her, and it seems to be the only door out of the room.]
* Ayaka surpresses flashbacks to badly dubbed american movies involving batcaves 
and peeks in the icebox "A little.. rustic. But at least I don't see any flying 
rats."
[The fridge contains a decent amount of food in it.  Mostly fruits and bread, 
but there's some things to drink as well.]
* Ayaka closes the icebox with a slight frown and tries the door on the off 
chance its locked or something. Not that it would make much sense to do that and 
leave her the gun.
[The door happens to be unlocked.]
* Ayaka takes a deep breath and opens said door!
[Ayaka notes that she's in a small corridor.  There's more lighting out here, so 
the flashlight probably is no longer necessary out here.]
[It goes off to both the left and the right quite a ways.]
* Ayaka turns off the flashlight and drops it back into her purse, going into 
the hallway and closing the door softly behind her while glancing right and 
left.
[Ayaka sees the corridor on the right go down quite a ways.  She hears some 
footsteps coming from the left but doesn't see anything.]
* Ayaka debates with herself for a brief moment, reajusts the purse hanging over 
her shoulder and turns.. right. Walking casual like.
[Ayaka, much to her relief, doesn't hear the steps quicken.]
* Ayaka tries to give the impression of someone searching for the nearest 
restroom and keeps walking!
[Ayaka passes a few rooms.]
[Ayaka walks right past a room when she hears a voice come out of it. "Hey, 
you're up."]
* Ayaka pauses in midstep and steps back to glance at the room the voice came 
from.
[The voice comes from a male who looks like he's in about his mid-teens.  He's 
got rather tan skin and short cropped hair and all relatively baggy clothes.  He 
looks concerned at her. "You were kind of out of it for a while...what 
happened?"]
* Ayaka looks the teenager over blinks, and smiles faintly "I'm fine.. Really. 
Do you happen to know the time?"
* Ayaka reaches up to run a hand through her hair to make sure its not mussed.
[Ayaka looks pretty as always.  Go her.]
<Ayaka> ( hard to improve on perfection ;) *snickers )
<Teen> Time?  Well..it's about half-past six.  Why do you ask?
<Rowyn> (Sure it is.  Keyoumi. o/~)
<Ryan> (Ayaka will kill her with a poisoned apple!)
* Ayaka shrugs and smiles "Just wondering how long I've been here. " she tilts 
her head a bit "And. Forgive me, For the life of me I can't recall your name at 
the moment."
<Ayaka> ( ^_^ Ayaka> Apple? Meh. There are easier ways to do that. )
<Teen> Uh..it's okay.  You were muttering something weird to yourself when we 
found you.  Lucky we have some people from Japan here, eh?
* Ayaka tries not to cringe, really she does. "Oh? Well thank you. Where are we 
anyways?"
[The teen walks out the rest of the way out of the room. "Well, I can show you 
around I guess.  The Xi Huan isn't due back for a few hours, so we're kind of 
stuck here until then.]
* Ayaka notes the name and smiles politely at the teenager "Thank you. I would 
like that. " Stepping back a bit to give him room.
[The teenager walks out and remembers something. "Oh by the way, I'm Kin.  
Pleased to meet you.]
[He hesitates and adds, "...again.  It's weird with you flitting in and out so 
much."]
* Ayaka smiles at Kin "Pleased to meet you too Kin. I'm Aya. Erm, and sorry 
about that. "
[Kin shrugs. "I have to say, we've had weirder..."]
* Ayaka shrugs herself and gestures for him to lead on. "Really? Know a lot of 
the people around here do you?"
[Kin looks slightly thoughtful. "A lot?  Not sure what makes you think that..."]
* Ayaka shrugs and smiles "Just making conversation. I think I recall you 
mentioning that there were other Japanese people here besides me and you."
[Kin nods. "Yeah, a few.  Some Chinese too.  I think I saw an American or two.  
But it's mostly...eh, don't know how to explain it."
* Ayaka arches an eyebrow at Kin "I see... Well, I think you were going to give 
me the grand tour weren't you?" smiling a bit.
<Kin> Yeah...yeah...
* Kin starts walking down the hallway.
* Ayaka walks beside Kin down the hallway "Interesting decor around this 
place.."
* Kin looks her over carefully. "You do what you need to.  We need to hide out 
so..."
* Ayaka gives him a neutral look back "Oh I'm not complaining. Its just a bit 
different."
<Kin> The caverns around China Sea are very useful.  If you know the right ones.
* Ayaka nods and glances around as they walk "So I see. "
<Kin> You know, it was weird for a girl to actual want to join us like that.  We 
hadn't had anything like this since Ying showed up.
* Ayaka just smiles faintly at Kin "I'm not your average girl. "
<Kin> I suppose not.
* Ayaka looks around again and glances back at Kin "Might I ask you a question?"
<Kin> What's that?
<Ayaka> How long have you been here? Roughly that is.
* Kin thinks for a bit. "Hmm..about a year or so."
* Ayaka nods thoughtfully and looks around for any points of interest along the 
way
<Kin> It changed a lot recently though.  I don't know, more heat.  But we're 
more organized.
[Ayaka finds herself heading towards the light.  Probably an exit to the 
cavernous wonderland.]
* Ayaka glances at Kin and nods "You would know more then me what it was like 
before. " She looks ahead and peers into the light.
<Kin> Yeah..
* Ayaka glances at Kin again and blinks "So what's ahead?" nodding up ahead at 
the light.
<Kin> Well, first is the docks.  It's pretty much how we operate around here.  
And since you said you wanted to join us, I think you should know about that 
first.
* Ayaka smiles at Kin "Your my tourguide. Docks first then."
[Kin leads you out to the docks.  There don't seem to be many ships.  In fact, a 
lot of the vehicles that are tied up are jet skis and sports boats.  Definitely 
their transportation is built for speed.]
* Ayaka looks around the docks with an air of mild curiosity, trying to remember 
where everything is and how the vehicles are secured. "Lots of room."
<Kin> For?
* Ayaka glances at him sideways and smiles faintly "Boats? This IS a dock."
<Kin> Yeah, but not often people mention it like that.  That's because the 
biggest one's yet to come.
* Ayaka shrugs and smiles "When is that?"
<Kin> Don't know...they should be leaving for here any second now.  I'd say 
about another half hour.
* Ayaka tilts her head and nods "I suppose I'll see it soon then. Perhaps we 
will even be around when it arrives. "
<Kin> Maybe.  Then we'll be ready to go out for real.
* Ayaka nods and smiles faintly "Anything else you think I should know before 
then Kin?"
<Kin> Like what?
<Kin> Well, we only do attacks against Feng Lei ships.  There's just something 
about them rounding up....
* Kin frowns suddenly.
* Ayaka tilts her head at Kin "Yes?"
* Kin looks at Ayaka. "It's just something they did about 15 years ago. I'm sure 
they don't all know it..."
* Ayaka blinks back at him and nods seriously "But you do."
<Kin> Ying explained it better...I'm not sure I remember it all...
* Kin seems to be fidgetting inside himself.
* Ayaka nods "Well. What -do- you remember? "
* Kin frowns and looks at Ayaka. "...experimentation. Each one of them's marked 
somehow. They gave them something so they wouldn't remember but...I don't know 
what the experiments did to them."
* Ayaka frowns back and arches an eyebrow "Rounding up experimental subjects? "
<Kin> Yeah...on kids when they were young.  Well...Ying knows more about that 
than I do.
* Ayaka nods slowly "So when do I get to meet Ying?"
<Kin> When the ship gets back...
